I would like the speed control to be smooth, natural, an intuitive. I don't think just removing the 100-150 rpm range will be a viable option either. While playing with the steps I did notice the smaller the step the lower the top end RPMs are going to be. The resonance doesn't seem to have improved but i'll give it a little bit to decide. I test it using the code, adding time in the delay, and myStepper.step =ling stepsPerRevolution to see if i get 360 degrees. If I am reading the manual right that should be 20000 steps per revolution. I am now running at 3200 steps due to this thread. The largest steps I can make are 1600 for a revolution. I wasn't really able to produce everything it says it can do. A cheaper alternative to ClearPath but better quality then a closed loop stepper. I wouldn’t mind looking at different brands or manufactures. I don’t mind getting other components that might help me out. But I can’t really justify the 700 dollar expense just to eliminate some noise. So I wouldn’t mind at all to have the alternative if I knew I would not have the same noise issues. a mounting bracket for a total of $217.I would like to be able to track movement.ġ3.0Nm(1841oz.in) Nema 34 Stepper Motor & Driver & Power Supplyġ x Digital Stepper Drive 2.4-7.2A 18-80VAC or 36-110VDC for Nema 34 Motorġ x Nema 34 CNC High Torque Stepper Motor 13Nm (1841oz.in) 5A 86x86x150mmġ x Switching Power Supply 350W 60V 5.9A for 115V/230V S-350-60ġ3.0Nm(1841oz.in) Nema 34 closed loop Stepper Motor & Driver & Power Supplyġ x Closed Loop Stepper Driver 0~8.2A 24~80VDC for Nema 34 Stepper Motorġ x 13.0Nm Nema 34 Closed Loop Stepper Motor w/ Encoder 1000CPRġ x 350W 60V 5.9A 115/230V Switching Power Supply Stepper Motor Stalling has to go, and with no feedback I don’t know how to stop it other than upgrading everything.Ĭontrol, I want to be able to home. The thing must be putting out 80-90 decibels. Noise, 100-150 RPM resonance is killing me. I have a power supply pushing a stepper driver pushing a stepper motor controlling a 3” rocking baffle air pump.
